The Camp Staff. Pathfinder boasts an incredible staff of counselors and trip guides. There is a 1:2 ratio at Pathfinder. That means, for every two campers there is a counselor. The Staff are mostly former Pathfinder Campers, so they know the program and boys’ needs inside and out. Training and supervision are the best available.
The great relationships the boys and counselors have is what distinguishes Pathfinder.
The youngest campers, ages 7-10 live in lodge cabins, 6 boys and 3 staff men.
The younger campers have dedicated staff who make their first camp experience fantastic.
Each canoe trip has a trip guide for every two boys. Nine men work as a team.
During the trip day, the staff men carry a pack and the canoe on a portage. The campers each carry a trip pack, with the food, tents and gear.

For the youngest Pathfinder campers, canoe tripping is designed to be a fun challenge, the first of many adventures in the red canoes.
Meanwhile, back at camp. When the camp season begins, boys return to Pathfinder from 14 states, 3 Canadian provinces, and 6 foreign countries
