Camp Pathfinder is a great place! Pathfinder is located on an island in the middle of Source Lake, in historic Algonquin Park, Ontario. Here is a real boys' adventure.

Algonquin is a 3,000 square mile wilderness area, protected and managed by Canada.

The Algonquin country is a maze of beautiful lakes, rivers, creeks and ponds, surrounded by an amazing forest.

Pathfinder canoe trips see it all. Six campers and three guide staff pack 3 red wood-canvas canoes with food, tents, sleeping rolls and gear for trips of 3-18 days. There are thousands of different animals, plants, fish, and trees in this forest world, and Pathfinder is right in the heart of it all.

Red canoes moving swiftly across Algonquin lakes is a sign of a Pathfinder trip.

As boys become veterans at Pathfinder, their trips grow in length and challenge. Teamwork and a spirit of togetherness are the heart and soul of Pathfinder tripping.

The Camp is home to 110 boys each summer. The boys are between ages 7 – 15 years old. Young first-timers attend for a 2-week starter session their first summer. Older boys age 11 and up come to camp for 3 ½ and sometimes 7 weeks. They take canoe trips throughout Algonquin Park and enjoy outdoor sports and activities on the Island.

Ropes Challenge is about team-work, climbing skills, and cooperative fun!
