Pathfinder Family Camp is fun!  No cooking, no cleaning, no worries – just the wild beauty of Algonquin Park to share with your family. Warm days, cool evenings, morning mists, evening stars, great swimming, delicious Algonquin camp meals, and friendly Pathfinder Staff, offering all the great Pathfinder activities and adventures.

Pathfinder hosts a small number of families on the Island for this 3-day event. The summer guide staff remains for Family Camp to conduct canoeing, kayaking, ropes course, bush hikes, and more. Many families just enjoy chilling out, following the sun from dock to dock and indulging in the home camp cooking.

Who comes to Family Camp? Current campers' parents pick them up and stay a couple extra nights - the camper stays no charge. New families who are considering Pathfinder for their son the following summer find this is a perfect introduction to camp, for their son and them! Pathfinder Alumni enjoy Family Camp, a perfect way of sharing the Pathfinder experience with their own families.

Camp Pathfinder is rustic and traditional. Bring a sleeping bag, towel, swimsuit and pillow, rain jacket, rugged shoes, toothbrush and a flashlight. We’ll supply the rest!

Reservations are needed, as space is limited. Pricing: $100 per adult / $50 per child under 16 per night, plus HST. Two night minimum, three night maximum. Parents please note: no pets are permitted, and children’s supervision is the responsibility of their parents at all times during this camp event.
