Camp Stay Tax Rebate for Foreign Individuals

Recently, Canada has closed its GST Rebate program and instead implemented a program offering tax rebates to foreign individuals who purchase a camp accommodation along with a 'service,' for example guiding or teaching about wilderness trips and camping skills. A summer camp stay may be eligible, therefore, for the new rebate program.

To apply for a rebate of GST paid for a Pathfinder camp stay, send an application to Canada Revenue. Supply an original copy of our billing statement on Camp letterhead (provided in September after camp) along with a Canada Revenue application form (link to form), and mail to the designated address.

Camp Pathfinder can not guarantee acceptance of the rebate request by Canada Revenue.
