Volume II - Paddles Flashing

The Time to Share your Pathfinder History is Now

Mac Rand is editing our modern history with a 2nd volume of Paddles Flashing in the Sun.
See Mac's appeal for your stories and images ...

During his tenure as Owner, Mac brought the first volume of Paddles Flashing to life, and since then it has been the go-to source for Pathfinder history, biographies and trivia. The book does not cover much ground after the mid-'80s, and this has been a time period of both big growth and great stories. Pathfinder's tripping program, island campus improvements, camp activities, the shoulder season programming and Spring/Fall crew life at Pathfinder, and the development of promising young Mic Macs into the Senior Staff that will see Pathfinder into her second century. These stories need to be committed to paper!

Mac wants your submissions towards Volume II. Email Mac ... to reach him for details on how to share your material. It's easy and painless. Get on the stick, Braves!

Centennial Tripping Event

100 Days of Tripping
Pathfinder Centennial Season, 2013

Former DOTs Zach Arem and Will Hopkins are organizing a great project for Camp. During the summer we are shooting to have a Pathfinder trip in the Park for 100 consecutive days, to mark 100 years of red canoes cruising Algonquin. Campers and staff cover the normal tripping schedule, from early July through mid-August. It's up to Alumni crews to be on the trail for Camp during mid-May to late June, and in the August week between Aug. 17 and Reunion Friday, Aug. 23.

Read more and use this sign up form, individually or with your crew, to join the 100 Days ...
